Xiaomi’s successful smart band series is set to get a new entry called Mi Band 5. It is only natural to see the company move to prepare a new successor to the successful Mi Band 4. Now, however, the Mi Band 5 is coming from a “rumored to come” device to something more consistent. A few days ago, we received one of the most extensive leaks of the wearer suggesting some interesting features like SpO2. Today, however, fans of the wearer will go crazy with some leaks that reveal the new wearer in all its glory.
Interestingly enough, the live photos reveal a larger screen along with a new charger. Obviously, the new Mi Band 5 will have a “plug-in” design type. Despite this change, the design seems to remain intact, except for a new, more finished finish. Of course, this may be a matter of perspective, but it looks a little more flattering than its predecessor. The Mi Band 4 has sharper curves.
According to the leak on Weibo, the price of the Mi Band 5 will be around 200 CNY (~ 28 $), maybe a little more.
New features are coming with the band 5
According to reports, the new band 5 will have NFC in its international version. Interestingly enough, this feature was something unique in the Chinese version in previous versions. In addition, the new laptop will have AI assistant support, with deep integration of Amazon Alexa.
Another report points to the presence of a menstrual cycle monitoring function as well as the SpO2 reader. The last function can read the oxygen saturation level of the bold. It is quite a useful and interesting feature nowadays plagued by the COVID-19 virus. Rumor has it that the new dress will make its debut in June or July this year. We will watch the mill of fame for more details.
