Vivo honors its commitment to fill the market with many 5G smartphones in all price ranges. Now, the company is preparing to introduce a new 5G phone in the form of Vivo S7. The device will be the slimmest smartphone to offer fifth generation network support. The phone appeared yesterday to Chinese retailers JD.com. Today, the list completed with the first official launch of the phone. It fully reveals the camera design of the phone and an amazing color choice.
Supposed Vivo S7 specifications
Unfortunately, the performance does not include the front of the phone. According to recent leaks, the Vivo will feature a dual-selfie camera hidden inside a wide notch. That’s right, the company will follow the broad solution of 2017. It’s definitely not the best, but the pill-shaped notches are far from ideal for dual-camera settings. The panel will be AMOLED, as the phone does not have a fingerprint scanner on the back or side. We believe that the biometric authentication solution will be hidden under the screen. In addition, the Vivo S5 and S6 5G come with AMOLED screens. So, it is safe to assume that the S7 will follow suit.
The Vivo S7 follows the new design language with the debut of the Vivo X50 series. It has a rectangular camera housing in the upper left corner of the rear panel. The phone has a dual camera array, including a 64MP resolution, as revealed by the wording on the left side of the camera case. In addition to the right LED flash, we can also read the “Hybrid Zoom”. This indicates that the smartphone will arrive with a telephoto lens. The other camera program is probably an extremely wide-angle lens. Previous reports have suggested that this phone would be an extremely slim device with a self-centered approach. However, we can clearly see a powerful camera installation.
Under the hood, the smartphone can feature the Snapdragon 765G with 5G capability. It carries both autonomous (SA) and non-autonomous (NSA) modes. We expect this chipset to be combined with up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Other specifications include support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth 5.0 and a USB-C port.
It is worth noting that Vivo also has another phone with similar specifications that circulates through the reputation mill. It’s the Vivo X60s, at the moment it is not clear if this handset will be unveiled alongside the Vivo S7.
