According to Huawei’s official website, the Huawei 2020 Developers Conference will be held in Songshan Lake, Dongguan, from September 10 to September 12. Huawei said: “We will share with you the latest developments in HMS Core 5.0 and reveal the mystery of HarmonyOS and EMUI 11.”
Huawei Consumer Chief Executive Officer Yu Chengdong (Richard Yu), Huawei Consumer Software Software Chairman Wang Chenglu, and Huawei Consumer Cloud Consumer Services Chairman Zhang Pingan will be invited as special guests.
Earlier News broke that Huawei Hongmeng OS 2.0 is coming and new Huawei watches, computers and even tablets will be released later this year.
As for when the Hongmeng OS can be applied to mobile phones, Huawei CEO Yu Chengdong said in an interview yesterday that the plan will not be released this year and will be available next year.
Recall that in June of this year, Huawei released the HMS Core 5.0 developer update, adding audio, video, video, graphics, computer graphics, augmented reality engine and other service features, and the core features were further enhanced.
EMUI 11 based on Android 11 will reach 250 million users
EMUI 10.1 is already available for more than 30 Huawei smartphone and tablet models. But it will soon get a new version of the EMUI 11 firmware.
Earlier, Huawei officially announced that the HDC 2020 events will take place on September 10-12 this year. In which, it will present the EMUI 11 user interface.
Google is set to release the final version of Android 11 in September. It will form the basis of EMUI 11. Sources claim that the final version of EMUI 11 will be available in the fourth quarter of this year. The first smartphone to run the EMUI 11 out of the box will be the Huawei Mate 40. It may also be unveiled in September. But the release should be in October of this year.
After the Mate 40, Huawei will start releasing EMUI11 for other smartphone and tablet models. EMUI 11 will eventually be available on more than 40 mobile devices from the Chinese tech giant.
According to Huawei itself, the EMUI 11 user base should exceed 250 million.
