Although the Samsung Galaxy A11 smartphone was released just six months ago, the company is already preparing a successor to it. The device has received a logical name Galaxy A12 and a lot of flash memory – twice as much as the Galaxy A11. Thus, the Galaxy A12 is potentially one of the cheapest Samsung smartphones with 64 GB of flash storage.
Samsung is preparing to release the budget Galaxy A12 with 64 GB of memory
Along with this, other improvements are planned. For example, 3 GB of RAM will become the core and battery capacity is likely to increase from the current 4000 mAh of the Galaxy A11.
As for the other parameters of the model, they are likely to correspond to the model of the current generation. Thus, the camera will continue to use 13, 5 and 2 megapixel sensors and the 6.4-inch HD + Infinity-O screen is likely to remain.
The Galaxy A12 is reportedly still in development, so it will not be released until a few months from now. The device will be offered in black, white, red and blue.
Features Samsung Galaxy A11
Following the release of a Galaxy A10 in mid-September 2019, Samsung announced the Galaxy A11 in March in a non-ritual way. Being the most affordable A-series device, however, it is not the first to launch. The Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 have the price of this title. Black, white, blue and red are the four-color versions of the smartphone.
Coming to specifications and design, the Galaxy A11 has an Infinity-O screen with a hole compared to the design of its predecessors. It is also slightly larger at 6.4 inches. It has an LCD panel with HD + 720 x 1560 pixel resolution. Turn it over and now there is an extra camera in the mix. Interestingly, Samsung does not state the identity of the SoC used inside the phone. Instead, the spec sheet calls it the “Octa-Core (1.8 GHz) chip”, which is surprisingly lower than the base CPU frequency of the Galaxy A10s. There is an option to choose between 2 GB / 3 GB of RAM with a fixed 32 GB of built-in storage.
Coming to the cameras, the front features an 8MP f / 2.0 selfie snapper, while the rear consists of a 13MP main shooter, an ultra-wide 5MP lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The Galaxy A11 is supported by a 4,000 mAh battery. It also has support for fast 15W charging and the back of the phone has a fingerprint reader. In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy A11 measures 161.4 x 76.3 x 8.0 mm and weighs 177 grams.
