Realme X receives update with September 2020 security patch – Post Daily

Realme builds a solid reputation not only as a company that ships competing smartphones, but also maintains good software support for them. Now, the company is releasing a new software modernize for last year’s Realme X with a series of performance and stability improvements and the latest security 2020 update.

The software accesses devices via OTA and bears the version number RMX1901EX_11.A.07. The update weighs in at 2.8 GB and also addresses many of the bugs previously reported by users. There are improvements here, but as usual, the company keeps them under the hood.

The Realme X is a flagship device that is one of the first mid-range phones to carry a bezel-less display and a pop-up camera. In fact, it launched a series of devices that later became the flagship of the Realme series.

The Realme 7i is coming to India as the Realme 7 Pro SE

In related news, Realme India CEO Madhav Seth recently took to Twitter to tease the release of the upcoming 7 Series smartphone. In addition, Seth promised to talk more about the device in the upcoming episode of #AskMadhav. Apart from that, the post also contains a teaser image showing a quad rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. If you look closely at the image, you will see the 64MP primary sensor. The teaser image also shows the Aurora Green color pick that Realme 7i also comes in.

In addition to the teaser, a notable consultant Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) revealed more about the device in his recent tweet. According to tipster, the upcoming Realme device will arrive with the moniker Realme 7 Pro SE. Combining both developments, there is a huge possibility that the upcoming Realme 7 Pro SE is nothing more than a branded Realme 7i for the Indian market.
