Realme 6i will land in India on July 24, It’s a rebranded Realme 6S – Post Daily

Realme is one of the most important smartphone brands today. After two years of existence, the company knows very well all the strategies for conquering the user preference and for the circulation of smartphones in different markets. Unfortunately, this knowledge also includes some controversial options, such as launching a smartphone on different monikers in different countries. This is something that Realme’s main rival, Xiaomi, holds the crown. Now, Realme is preparing to launch a well-known smartphone, the Realme 6S with a different moniker in India. The largest bastion of the company will have a device similar to the Realme 6i moniker.

Now you may be wondering if this same Realme 6i phone is available in global markets. The answer is no, the Global Realme 6i is already available in India as Realme Narzo 10. We are considering Realme 6, but Realme will recycle the 6i name in India. After all, it’s better to save these new names for future smartphones, right?

The Indian Realme 6i will hit the shelves on July 24, just four days from now. The CEO of the company in India, Madhav Sheth confirmed the good news and also revealed that the phone will feature the excellent MediaTek Helio G90T chipset. This chipset was released last year, but is still above any other offering in the Helio G series. This particular chipset offers even better gaming performance than the recently released Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. Although it is not the most efficient due to the nature of 12nm.

Realme 6i will be a cheaper alternative to Realme 6

The Realme 6i appeared a few days ago via the Flipkart list. However, the e-commerce giant dropped the list. For this reason, it is safe to assume that Realme has decided to postpone the smartphone for ten days, as the initial list suggests starting on July 14th. During the short life of the landing page, we could see that the price of the phone will be below 15,000 INR, ie about $ 200. Interestingly enough, the Realme 6 also has the same chipset that sells for 14,999 INR. For this reason, it is safe to assume that the Realme 6i will come as a cheaper alternative.

In Europe, Realme sells the Realme 6 for 199 euros with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. The same smartphone is called Realme Narzo in Indonesia and has twice the amount of storage. However, the price is below the European version ~ € 177. The new Indian version probably comes with a starting price of 12,999 INR for the lower version with 4 GB / 64 GB. The other version with 128 GB of storage should also reach India, but the price will be slightly higher.
