Following the release of the Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro in March this year, Oppo has shifted its focus to the Reno range. The Reno series conquered the world last year with powerful smartphones and competitive prices. For this reason, it makes sense for the company to maintain the Find X series as a premium smartphone series, while the Reno series comes for those looking for a more affordable experience. On June 5, the company announced the Oppo Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro 5G with the Snapdragon 765G SoC with 5G capability. Since then, there have been many speculations showing the circulation of the aforementioned devices in India and other regions. The Reno 4 was certified in Thailand last month, proposing launch in Southeast Asia. Now, Reno 4 accumulated a set of certifications confirming its release in SEA and also in global markets.
The Oppo Reno 4 Pro will be slightly different
The handset has already received TUV Rheinland approval, followed by Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi Alliance. The Reno 4 bears the model number CPH2089, while the Reno 4 Pro bears the CPH2091 series. These certifications are part of an important process that takes place before launching a smartphone outside of China. Once a device has received these important certifications, we can almost conclude that it is almost close to shore.

According to the list, both Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro feature dual-mode Wi-Fi (2.4GHz / 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. In addition, both smartphones are ruined with ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10. If you remember, ColorOS 7.2 is a new branch of Oppo software. The new version was released exclusively with the Reno 4 series. According to recent rumors, the Reno 4 will be similar to its Chinese brother. However, the Pro version will have a screen refresh rate of 90Hz to 120Hz.
Reno 4 and 4 Pro specifications
The Reno 4 features a 6.43-inch, pill-shaped screen for adjusting a dual self-portrait camera. The Oppo Reno 4 Pro has a larger 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a single piercing camera. Under the hood, both headphones feature a Snapdragon 765G SoC with up to 12 GB of RAM. In the camera section, we have triple camera arrays for both headphones that have a 48MP main sensor. The drilling settings are powered by a 32MP primary sensor. There is a 4,000 mAh battery that keeps the lights on.
Unfortunately, there is still no official word from Oppo on the release of the new devices outside of China. However, the certifications alone are enough to ensure that they will eventually reach the West.
