Oppo seems to be working on a new smartphone called the Oppo A33 (2020). As the name suggests, the A33 (2020) is the updated version of the original smartphone released in 2015. The device has now appeared in the NBTC certification of Thailand. Just like most entries, this one also reveals some key specifications and features along the way. In addition to NBTC, the device has also received TKDN certification from Indonesia and BIS from India.
The Oppo A33 (2020) appears on the NBTC certification, this is what we know now!
According to the new list, the upcoming smartphone Oppo A33 (2020) bears the model number CPH2137. The device will support LTE connectivity and this makes sense considering it is going to be a budget offer. As we look at the first leaks, there is very limited information around the smartphone. We expect more information to appear in the coming days or weeks.
Recall that the original Oppo A33 has a smaller 5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Under the hood, the phone runs on a Snapdragon 410 chipset combined with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in storage. There is a unique 8MP primary sensor along with an LED flash located on the back, while there is a 5MP front snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. With a 2,400 mAh battery, the device has standard charging capabilities. All of these specifications and features were quite common in those days.
With that said, the 2020 version should follow all the latest trends, such as quad camera, cutout-hole cutout, powerful chipsets and, of course, fast charging.
