No Need To Wait For OnePlus 8T Pro: It Will Never Come – Post Daily

The well-known informant @MaxJmb said today that the OnePlus 8T Pro (codenamed kebab) will not appear. This means that the OnePlus 8T series released this year may not include the OnePlus 8T Pro.

According to previous news, the OnePlus 8T will use a 6.55-inch 120Hz AMOLED display and quad-camera (48MP + 16MP + 8MP + 2MP), of which the 48MP main camera will be further optimized to improve imaging capabilities.

Since the time of the OnePlus 3, OnePlus technology has been in the habit of upgrading its flagships every six months – the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T, the OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T and so on.

Key features of the OnePlus 8 Series

As for the current generation, OnePlus officially released the top smartphone of the OnePlus 8 series on April 14, 2020.

One of the biggest selling points of this device is the screen. From the posters that have been released in the past, we learned about the sporty OnePlus 8 Pro with a 6.78 inch OLED screen. Other display parameters include E3 hardware, 3168 × 1440 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Let’s say the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T use a 90Hz AMOLED display. So, now it is upgraded to a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, as mentioned, it also supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It can provide smoother transition and touch response capabilities.

Under the hood, the OnePlus 8 series hosts the Snapdragon 865 5G platform. Combines with LPDDR5 memory up to 12 GB, UFS 3.0 flash memory and supports TurboWrite, HPB technology and WiFi 6.

In terms of durability, the OnePlus 8 Pro is powered by a 4510mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging. At the same time, the OnePlus 8 has a 4300mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T. No word has been said on wireless charging. Assume the phone does not support it.
