Motorola got the latest news of the series last month and now the flagship is preparing to make its big arrival in India. According to an announcement made by the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart, the Motorola Edge + will debut in India on May 19 at 12:00 local time.
Motorola Edge + specifications
Under the hood, the Edge + features the Snapdragon 865 SoC. The chipset has up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The device has seamless 5G connectivity. These specifications are built around a 6.7-inch AMOLED FullHD + display. The screen is curved and Motorola calls it “Endless Edge”. In addition, it has a hole in the upper left corner that houses a 25MP selfie shooter and below there is a fingerprint reader.
Going backwards, we have a triple camera setting that includes a 108MP main camera, combined with an 8MP telephoto lens and a 16MP UV and macro sensor. Interestingly enough, the telephoto lens only offers 3x optical zoom.
The Motorola Edge draws power from a 5,000 mAh battery with a rather simple fast 18W charge. The handset also has 15W wireless charging and supports reverse wireless charging offering up to 5W. The company also has a vanilla Motorola Edge which is a premium mid-range device with the Snapdragon 765G. However, it is not clear whether the company will also bring it to India.
Unfortunately, there are no pricing details yet, but more will be needed in the coming days.
