Earlier today, Moto expanded its G8 budget range in the Indian market by adding another affordable smartphone. We are talking about the brand new Moto G8 Power Lite. As the name suggests, the device carries a huge battery at a price below 10k. The smartphone borrows the design from the rest of the G8 series. This means that we are looking at a water drop notch, rounded corners and a polycarbonate body. Here’s everything you need to know about the latest Moto G8 Power Lite.
Moto G8 Power Lite: Price in India, Availability
The G8 Power Lite is available in a storage variant with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of built-in memory. In terms of colors, we look at the Royal Blue and Arctic Blue variants. The smartphone is priced at INR 8,999 (approximately $ 120). In terms of availability, interested buyers will be able to purchase the phone from Flipkart exclusively from May 29th.
- 6.5 inch screen
- Helio P35 SoC
- 4 GB + 256 GB
- 5,000 mAh battery
Speaking of specifications, the Moto G8 Power Lite is equipped with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a front selfie shooter with a water-stamped housing. The screen has a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20: 9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device uses the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset in combination with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. If this is not enough, then you can expand the built-in memory up to 256 GB via microSD slot.
There is a triple camera unit on the back that will handle all your camera needs. It consists of a 16MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shooting. Unfortunately, the device does not have an UV lens which is something that comes with other devices. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP front snapper inside the slot. All this works with a large 5,000 mAh battery with standard 10W charging support.
For some unknown reason, the device is running Android 9 Pie software with a date, which can be a solution for many. According to the trend, you enjoy the experience close to the stock. Just like the other G8 devices, there is a fingerprint sensor inside the Moto logo. For connectivity, there is a 4G VoLTE port, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and micro USB for charging.
