In February of this year, Motorola introduced a new mid-range phone called the Moto G Stylus in the United States. Now, the handset is getting a new name for its European release. On the old continent, the device carries the Moto G Pro moniker.
Moto G Pro Specifications
Of course, the biggest change in the handset will be the name. Under the hood, the device will carry the same Snapdragon 665 SoC that comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage. These specifications are built around a 6.4-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 2300 x 1080 pixels (FHD +). In addition, the device has a built-in stylus. However, do not expect a huge set of features to come with this stylus. Motorola’s implementation cannot be compared to Samsung’s S-Pen in the Note series.
At the back, we have a triple camera setting that includes a 48MP main shot with f / 1.7 aperture, 16MP f / 2.2 ultra wide unit and 2MP macro lens. Motorola sticks with the design of the hole for the selfie snapper. The camera can capture shots with a resolution of up to 16MP. The device draws power from a 4,000 mAh battery.
There are some small changes if we compare the G Pro with its US counterpart. The European model includes support for dual SIM, NFC and more capable 15W charging. The G Stylus has only 10W charging speeds. Finally, its European counterpart is participating in the Android One program. This is good as it forces Motorola to provide two year Android 10 updates and three year security updates.
The device is currently available Amazon Germany, will cost 329 € there. In the coming days we will receive a confirmation that shows which European countries are going to receive.
