Huawei MatePad 10.8 specs, pricing and launch date revealed by retailer – Post Daily

Buying a tablet on the Android currency side may not be overwhelming, but there are several companies still betting on this segment such as Samsung and Huawei. The first will unveil a series of new tablets during Galaxy Unpacked on August 5th. As for Huawei, it seems that the company will also meet, at least in the domestic market with a new Huawei MatePad 10.8 tablet. The new slate will be an upgrade over the MatePad M6 10.8 from last year. According to a new list leaked from JD.com, the price of the model with Wi-Fi only connection will be 2,300 CNY ($ 330 / € 280).

Huawei MatePad specifications 10.8 inches

The Huawei MatePad 10.8 comes with the Kirin 990 chipset. It is the same chipset found on the iconic MatePad Pro tablet, which is much more expensive at 3,300 CNY. The new MatePad 10.8, unlike last year’s model, has a boot boot with 6 GB of RAM (from 4 GB on the M6) and 64 GB of internal storage. The tablet probably has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. In addition, it will offer support for the M-Pencil Stylus and there will be a keyboard add-on to provide a laptop experience. The battery will maintain the same durability of the M6 with a capacity of 7,500mAh. The tablet also has good sound quality thanks to the Harman Kardon speakers and Huawei Histen 6.1 audio technology.

Other specifications include seamless support for the new Wi-Fi 6 and NFC standard. Since this is the Chinese market, we can bet that a 5G variant is also coming. Just like the M6, we also expect an 8.4-inch variant. However, we have not found any indication regarding the specific variation specifications.

The Huawei MatePad 10.8 will be available on JingDong.com on July 30. However, actual shipments will begin on August 13th. There will be an early offer for the tablet, with a discount of 100 CNY. Interestingly enough, on the same date, we will see the big revelation of the Huawei MateBook D 15 Ryzen Edition, a TalkBand B6 fitness tracker and the Kids Watch 4X. Another recent leak showed another plate, the Huawei Tablet C5 10. Appeared on Vmall for 2,700 CNY ~ $ 386. It has a 10.4 inch screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. Thus, July 30 will be an important day for Huawei fans in China. We do not know how many of these devices will enter international markets. But we expect the Huawei TalkBand B6 to be the first to leave China.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
