Oppo is preparing to unveil the global counterpart of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro. Today, the handset appeared in formal appearances and is enough to give us a good one eyes of the handset before its worldwide release. We can already identify some key differences between the Global handset and the variant available in China. The same device will be officially released in India on July 31.
The phone came in white and black options. However, the biggest difference we can find between this and the global variant is the gifts of a fourth camera sensor. The Chinese Reno 4 Pro has a triple camera setup, as does the vanilla Reno 4 Pro. Despite the presence of this fourth sensor, there are still no details about the auxiliary cameras. Meanwhile, the main sensor should remain unchanged with a 48MP camera. The fourth sensor could almost be a new telephoto lens unit, but only time will tell. According to a previous report, this combination of cameras can be available without the Auto-Focus auxiliary laser available in Chinese variants.
According to rumors, this installation has features such as EIS, OIS, HDR, Ultra Steady Pro, smart 960fps slow motion video recording, up to 4K video recording at 30fps and AI color portrait from the Chinese Reno 4 Pro.
The Global Oppo Reno 4 Pro is a degradation in terms of performance and connectivity
According to reports, the company will also make the 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with FHD + resolution. It has a single hole for the selfie camera and operates at a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Indian variant, meanwhile, can bring this table to a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, the difference can be a bit frustrating. The new Global Edition may come with the Snapdragon 720G SoC. The Chinese version features the 5G-enabled Snapdragon 765G, which also performs better than the SD720G. The rest of the spec sheet is expected to remain the same. This includes the 4,000 mAh battery with the crazy 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 charge. We are curious to see if the pricing point will be different since this handset does not have 5G and comes with a smaller chipset.
Previous leaks have already revealed a USB-C at the bottom. It sits next to the speaker grilles, while the power button is on the left. The volume is on the left. The universal variant probably brings the 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Although we have no official information about the release of the Oppo Reno 4 Pro in the West. However, we know that the device will land in India alongside the Oppo Watch on July 31st. Perhaps the Indian variant will be able to give us a good idea of what to expect from the global version.
