Apart from the Galaxy Note 20 series, the next long-awaited smartphone from Samsung is the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The device will see its official presentation on August 5 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2020. Unlike other upcoming Samsung devices, we see very few leaks around the next foldable smartphone. To add to the list, we now have a leaked image of the smartphone. The image confirms the product name along with a perforation design.
The leak of Galaxy Z Fold 2 is here and here what it reveals!
According to the image, Samsung will use the Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G as the brand name for the next generation foldable smartphone. We may only see the device start on a 5G variant. If you look closely, you can also see the piercing that opens the selfie camera sensor. You can also clearly see the puncture in the previous leak of the smartphone. For those who do not know, the original foldable smartphone has a 10MP + 8MP wide-angle camera sensor.
Given previous leaks and rumors, the Galaxy The Z Fold 2 will arrive with a 7.59-inch Dynamic AMOLED panel with 120Hz inside. There is a 6.23-inch AMOLED external display screen. The device will have the latest Snapdragon 865+ chipset that is combined with built-in memory up to 512 GB. For optics, there will be a triple rear camera unit with two 12MP and 64MP lenses. Both screens have a 10MP selfie shooter inside the hole.
All this would work with a 4,365 mAh battery, which will support fast 25W charging. We will also see the Qi 15W wireless charging and, of course, reversible wireless charging. On the front of the software, the phone will run on Android 10 with One UI 2.5 on top.
will cost the same as the original model
Last week, we saw reports flooding the internet claiming to have revealed the pricing of the Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphone. According to the leak, the second iteration of the folding smartphone will cost the same as the previous one. That means we are looking at an exact price of $ 1,990. One thing to note is that the quoted price was for the LTE version of the foldable smartphone. The 5G variant, on the other hand, was priced at around $ 2,200.
