Samsung is preparing for one of the biggest events of 2020 in the form of Galaxy Unpacked. The company will present a total of five top products. Of course, the star of the show will be the Galaxy Note 20 series. However, we will also see the brand new Galaxy Z Fold 2 as well as new Galaxy Tab S7 devices and new TWS products. Today, the company brought in a new teaser video to confirm all the incoming products and create the advertising campaign for next week’s event.
The video starts teasing the new Mystic Bronze colorway. This color choice seems to be the new color hero for Samsung smartphones. Next we see what the Galaxy Z Fold 2 looks like to be disassembled. Then, the teaser features several images that reveal design sketches, spare parts, and even the retail box of the new king of Samsung phablets.
The company’s big event will take place at Samsung Digital City Campus in Suwon, South Korea. The place also makes a brief appearance in the video. Finally, we see the silhouette of all five products. In addition to the Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Note 20, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Tab S7 series, as well as the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live. The latest promotional video for the event confirms that all 5 devices will be released in the speech and give us short previews.
The biggest start to the show may not be so appealing
While the Galaxy Z Fold 2 is likely to take the crown of the most innovative device of the event, the Note 20 family is still the biggest star of the show. After all, the foldable phone is still not a phone for everyone because of its high price. And, foldable phones in their current state may not be the best for those who just want a good smartphone.
The company will present two new phones in the form of Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. If you are expecting devices that are far superior to the S20 family, you will probably be disappointed. The Note 20 reportedly comes with a camera setting that is essentially the same as the S20. As for the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, we will see the same 108MP sensor. However, the ultra wide camera has been downgraded from 48MP to just 12MP.
It is worth noting that both phones will be accompanied by a laser autofocus system in an effort to leave behind all the issues found by the users of the S20 family.
