Earlier this month, Samsung finally unveiled the Galaxy Note 20 in all its glory. The company also introduced the brand new Galaxy Z Fold 2 which continues the famous folding series. One might think that Samsung is complete with its iconic designs for 2020. But this is not the right way to think! In the final analysis, Samsung is preparing to unveil a new smartphone called Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. It will be a special edition of the former flagship with some incremental changes and a more affordable price. A few hours ago, a series of CAD renders leaked giving us a good look at the upcoming device. Now, we come to the part where we talk about the middle ground with the release of Evan Blass. The most interesting fact is that it shows that the handset has six colorways.
Rumors about the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition
These new returns are the same as yesterday’s leaks. The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will not innovate in design. We will have the traditional Samsung punch screen with a selfie alignment center. The screen is said to come with FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen size should be between 6.4 and 6.5 inches. Around the back, the smartphone will display a triple camera setting aligned inside a square fiber unit. Obviously the installation combines a primary 12MP, 12MP ultrawide and 8MP telephoto lens.
The Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will also come with a power button and volume alignment on the right side. The USB-C port is placed at the bottom, while the SIM disk is supported at the top. Under the hood, we waited for the Snapdragon 865 SoC. However, a recently identified GeekBench list reveals a supposed variation on the Exynos 990 chipset. This is certainly not good news for the anti-Exynos gang.
Among other rumored specifications we have a possible dust and water resistance IP68, as well as an excellent 4,500mAh battery. The smartphone will also feature fast charging technology. We believe it will have at least 25W charging. Samsung will sell it in two separate flavors with 4G and 5G connectivity. Additionally, you can expect some storage differences. The phone is expected for October at a price of $ 760. It is not as expensive as other Galaxy phones, but it is not affordable with the flagship sailors. We also expect the phone to be released with Android 10, despite the possible release of Android 11 next month.
