Yesterday, Samsung launched a host of top products in the long-awaited Galaxy Unpacked 2020. The main offer of the conference was the unveiling of Galaxy Note 20 rows. The composition consists of two devices, namely the Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra. Well, not even 24 hours have passed since the release and the lineup has already received its first software update. It is worth noting that the devices have not yet been released. As of now, chaebol has opened pre-booking in many markets.
The Galaxy Note 20 series receives the first software update!
The first update of the Note 20 series weighs about 500MB. Changelog doesn’t really say much about the update that the Android 2020 Security Patch expects in April 2020. We expect that the new update will also bring performance improvements and bug fixes, although changelog does not say anything like that.
It may even have some small features that should have initially accompanied the device. The chaebol is something like this with the foldable Galaxy Z Flip device. The smartphone was supposed to come with a Single Take camera feature, but the brand may have forgotten to combine it out of the box. To solve this, Samsung immediately introduced a new update so that consumers can enjoy the feature as soon as they start receiving the devices.
With these words, the first users of the smartphone will receive the update as soon as the phone is turned on and everyone is ready to use. As previously mentioned, the Galaxy Note 20 series is currently in the pre-booking stage. They are still weeks away from hitting the shelves. There is a pretty good chance we will see some more updates before that. If this happens, we will make sure to inform our readers.
Samsung has promised to offer three major software updates!
As we talk about software updates, it is worth noting that Samsung has promised to offer three generations of updates to the new Note 20 series. In fact, every top Galaxy device starting with the S10 will be part of this new commitment. This new change in software development was much needed given how other premium devices are at the top of their software game. This new commitment will give potential buyers the reassurance that their devices are good for at least 3 years in terms of software.
