In July, we started hearing about the fact that Samsung is working on an Android 11 for its latest Galaxy S20 trio. Earlier this month, the Galaxy S20 + appeared on GeekBench with the latest Android 11 operating system. Well, the Plus variant of the series has now reappeared on the web with the latest Android OS. This time the entry appeared in the HTML5 evaluation criterion. The new development has further strengthened that the brand is running Android 11 for the Galaxy S20 series.
For those who do not know, the Galaxy S20 trio will be the first to receive the latest Android operating system. The new Android version will come with One UI 3 on top. It would be interesting to see what the new version of One UI will bring to the table. The latest benchmark also mentioned Samsung Internet 13.0, which has not been released yet. This means that we will see that a new Samsung Internet 13.0 will also arrive with the newer Android 11.
Recall, Samsung recently released the latest Samsung Internet 184.108.40.206 with new features such as enhanced dark mode. The listing does not really talk about the 13.0 features of the company’s browser. In the HTML5 test, the smartphone managed to score 469 points out of a maximum of 555 points.
Samsung has already started the pre-beta phase of Android 11 One UI 3.0!
Earlier this month, Samsung launched the closed beta phase of the upcoming One UI 3.0 with Android 11 at the top. As part of this pre-beta phase, a small number of applicants in South Korea and the US were able to register to test the software. The brand will start a more open beta phase once the pre-beta phase is successfully completed.
As of now, there is no official timeline from the smartphone maker as to when the open beta will launch. Given the previous schedules, we should expect the open beta program to launch sometime in October. The public beta should be available in major markets such as China, USA, UK, India, Poland, South Korea and Germany. The Galaxy S20 duo and the Galaxy Note 20 will be the first to receive the update along with the latest folding devices.
